A while back, I mused that the prospective invasion of Iraq had the potential to shake up the standard political alliances with which we’re familiar. I’m delighted to now be able to join in the shaking a bit.
A group of writers and bloggers from both sides of the political specturm (and, for that matter, some folks floating off sort of perpendicular to it) have joined together to produce Stand Down, a coalition blog devoted to making the case against the administration’s plans for “regime change” in Iraq. Think of it as a sort of anti-Corner. My unindicted co-conspirators include Max Sawicky, Jim Henley, Radley Balko, Gene Healy, Jesse Walker, Kos, and whole bunch of other sharp folks you may already read on their own respective blogs. Check it out.
