“Awesome Canadian hip-hop” are three words seldom strung together in that order; as far as I’m aware, it’s a descriptive phrase with a unique extension: Edmonton-based rapper Cadence Weapon. He’ll be playing The Red and the Black next month.

Now that I think about it, one of the more important one-hit wonder groups of all time is also from T-Dot.
Main Source’s first album features both Akinyele and, much more importantly, the recording debut of Nas. (Reference) I haven’t heard the album but it has a pretty good reputation.

I love how you say that they are three words seldom strung together IN THAT ORDER. As if there is any combination of those words that we often see.
