I’ve enjoyed my time at Reason a great deal, but as some Hit and Run commenters long suspected, I’ve been in negotiations with Katrina vanden Heuvel for a while now and am looking forward to starting the new job I’ve just accepted. Beginning next week, I’ll be doing my writing here.

UPDATE: A somewhat unsettling number of people who saw this after April first (when it was posted as an April Fools joke) have congratulated me on the new job. So just to clarify: I have not been, and almost certainly will never be, hired by The Nation. At least, not until I turn 30 and implement my secret plan to do a David Brock–style conversion to the left. It probably would’ve been more lucrative to start out on the left and do the conversion to the right later, but what can I say—poor planning.
