Josef Stalin died 50 years ago today. While historians still debate whether the cause was a brain hemmorhage or foul (some would say “fair”) play, I think we can all agree that it was an occasion to celebrate. Though Stalin never quite “achieved” (if you can call it that) Hitler’s status as the ultimate symbol of evil, he was responsible for the deaths of over four times as many people. Now, fortunately, the corrupt ideology that brought him to power is as defunct as the man himself. So go out and drink a toast this evening to the old bastard’s not-timely-enough demise. Nastrovya!
Update: This may be the worst thing I’ve ever seen. I can imagine it… “Well, Timmy, where do we go next: Gulag Archipeligo Land or Starving Ukranian Peasant Land?”
